Give back to the community
django CMS is free and open. To ensure that stays that way, the django CMS Association was founded in Switzerland in 2020. We are the guardians of django CMS. Here you can see the association's current strategy and the most recent annual report. The association is entirely run by volunteers.
Why contribute to django CMS?
We need your help for django CMS to remain open, free, cutting edge and well maintained.
Your financial contributions support the django CMS Fellowship, which directly translates to continuous, high-quality software improvements and fixes.
The django CMS Fellow also provides great technical support for developers (i.e. by handling your technical questions and requests across our support channels).
Who should contribute to django CMS
Service Providers
Organizations that offer services around django CMS to their clients, for example web design, web development, hosting, consulting, etc.
Website Owners
Organizations who use django CMS to run their website benefit from django CMS being open and free (e.g. we don't charge any license fees).
Developers
If you are an individual python developer and having fun using django CMS for your website projects we invite you to contribute.
Ways to support django CMS
Join the django CMS Association
If you would like to be involved in the django CMS Association, including annual electronic votings and receive the annual financial reports, we propose your organization joins the django CMS Association as a member.
Sponsorship / Partnership
If you shy away from the paperwork involved in having your organization join the Association as a member, consider a plain vanilla sponsorship instead. It is also possible to dedicate the sponsorship to a specific purpose, or a feature.
Volunteering
DoWe are constantly looking for volunteers to fill our ranks. We offer an active Discord community and fun and efficient teamwork.
Contribute code
Would you like to fix a bug or implement a new feature? We are always looking for django developers to join the community of contributors.
Open-source your work
If you have developed a custom project for django CMS that you think is of interest to the public, consider open sourcing it. We offer some technical support for third-party projects hosted in our Github's django-cms organization.
