Many heads were put together to get this release up on its feet. Many thanks to all involved!

django CMS 3.8.0 RC1 Release is now available. This release concentrates on introducing support for Django 3.1 and drops support for Python 2.7 and 3.4. It also removes support for Django versions below 2.2.

Please see the release notes for django CMS 3.8.0.rc1 for full details of the changes.

How to get it

Version 3.8.0 RC1 is available for installation in several different ways:

  • on Divio - try it in a ready-to-deploy new project using Aldryn Django CMS 3.8.0.1
  • via pip (pip install django-cms==3.8.0rc1)
  • directly from GitHub

Please file any bug reports on GitHub, and give us any other feedback on our django CMS developers email list.

Release

django CMS 5.1 is here: easier setup, flexible deployments, and a fresh editing experience

This release reduces friction across the whole project lifecycle: creating a new project, adding django CMS to an existing Django application, configuring larger deployments, controlling which plugins editors can use, and working with the CMS every day.

Release

django CMS 5.0.9 released: security, accessibility, and stability improvements

This release addresses three medium-severity security vulnerabilities and includes improvements to accessibility, Django compatibility, permissions, Content Security Policy support, and general editor stability.
