We are thrilled to welcome Vinit Kumar as the newest django CMS fellow, joining forces with Fabian Braun, who has been dedicated to the fellowship since 2022.
Vinit brings over a decade of expertise in Django, Python, and cutting-edge web development to the django CMS team. His strong background in both backend and frontend development—ranging from multi-tenant django CMS architectures to JavaScript frameworks like React—makes him an invaluable addition.
Throughout his career, Vinit has led impactful projects, including building robust django CMS installations designed for high scalability, handling millions of requests across thousands of websites. With a proven ability to drive innovation and lead high-performing teams, he is perfectly suited to help shape the future of django CMS. Notably, he has been a core developer for the project for a while and is a member of the Django Software Foundation, which speaks volumes about his dedication to open-source contributions.
