May brought serious momentum to the django CMS ecosystem — from bug-squashing releases to exciting first-time contributions! Here's everything you need to know from this month's update.

🚀 Releases

🔧 django CMS 5.0.1
A focused bugfix release that resolves circular import issues and ensures all text-enabled plugins work seamlessly with djangocms-text. Clean and stable!

🌓 djangocms-text 0.8.7

  • Icons for tables now dark-mode compatible

  • Re-introduced CKEDITOR_BASEPATH for CKEditor 4

  • Fixed a migration failing on MySQL

  • Better support for django CMS 5

🔁 djangocms-versioning 2.3.1: Improvements to default version copying, plus minor bugfixes for a smoother content lifecycle.

🧱 djangocms-alias 2.0.3: This one’s laying the groundwork for django CMS 5.1 to run on the current django CMS main branch!
